Windsong homeowners enjoy
The HOA of Windsong Geist in Indianapolis is also responsible for the maintenance of the common areas along Windhaven Boulevard, the entrance signs, the pool and parking lot, and snow removal and salting during the winter season.
While Windsong residents enjoy access to several outdoor amenities, the parking lot and connected areas are private and guests should always be accompanied by a resident.
According to the covenants, homeowners are required to have all exterior updates approved by the HOA Covenants Chair. Please contact Roger Hartman at970-470-3902 prior to scheduling any work or purchasing materials. The covenants are posted here and here.
The pool and baby pool is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. All Windsong residents are welcome to enjoy the pool. There is a great picnic and gathering place under the gazebo. A copy of the pool rules is available at the beginning of each season. An information card must be completed upon a homeowner’s first visit to the pool. A keycard is required to access the pool. Pool rules are posted here.
To register for pool access, please contact Christi Thieme at 317-809-4777 .
Windsong participates in a neighborhood Crime Watch Program. If you see suspicious activity, immediately report it to the IMPD non-emergency number of (317) 327-3811 or 311 on mobile. (Also call this number to report crimes or to request a report.) Then contact Christi Thieme, the board security representative to report the incident. She will immediately post an alert on Nextdoor. You may also report suspicious activity to IMPD online.
No soliciting window clings are available from the HOA to post in your front window. Solicitors are required to observe these signs.
Windsong residents have access to lease community boat docks managed by Geist Marina Limited Partnership. There are 25 boat docks available and leases are renewable annually. All fees and maintenance of the docks are the responsibility of the Marina and contracts are handled through them. Please be respectful of the privacy of leased docks.
The Board of Directors maintains the list of dock occupants and the waiting list for those homeowners wishing to lease a dock. Each year the docks that become available are offered to homeowners on the waiting list in the order they were placed on the list. Our boat dock coordinator is
Mike Pfau who can be reached at 317-432-5084.

The Windsong HOA and neighborhood have gone electronic!
We utilize private channels of communication to keep everyone in the know on events, crime, and neighborhood fun.
This website and Nextdoor.com are now the primary means of communication, replacing a printed newsletter. All residents are requested to register their email, if they have not done so already.
The Windsong Nextdoor.com account provides important updates on safety and security, covenant reminders, and community happenings. Both the website and Nextdoor contains information to contact board members. You will also find information on upcoming events, reports on what is happening, board business and covenant information.
Homeowners are encouraged to submit classifieds, post comments for discussion in the forums, and add events to the calendar which might be of interest to the neighborhood.
